Rearcross U-14's collected maximum points on a slender one nil victory over Sallypark in this league encounter played on Good Friday at Rearcross FC Grounds, the home side playing with wind advantage enjoyed the better of the exchanges in the opening half, however a resilient Sallypark rearguard proved their worth with some fine defending. The introduction of Brian Healy in the second half made an immediate impact and Rearcross were unlucky not to go in front early on with a Tommy Kennedy effort. Sallypark also came in to the game in the second half and had their moments, however it was Rearcross who grabbed the elusive goal with ten minutes remaining when Oliver Harte's effort from in front of goal nestled in the back to the net.
