Rearcross U-7's - Newport AFC 6

Rearcross U-7's played host to their Newport counterparts in this entertaining challange game played in Rearcross last Friday and eventually emerged victorious by the odd goal in thirteen, this was truly a game of two halves as Newport AFC led 5-1 at half time after Cathal Ryan and Brian Keane grabbed a brace a piece in addition to a lone strike from Darren Collins while Adam Hurley replied for Rearcross. The home side were the sharp shooters in the second half and grabbed a winner late in the game, the second half scorers for Rearcross were Adam Hurley who rounded off his hat-trick while Conor Nolan netted twice in addition to strikes from James Rochford and Philip Deegan. Brian Keane also added a second half goal for an unlucky Newport side.
