An under strength Rearcross U16’s made the journey to Puckane last Saturday for a top of the league encounter against Puckane in what proved to be a one sided match. The opening half was tit for tat until the 30^th minute when Puckane took the lead when the attacker finished off a corner kick when he was left unmarked in the box. Rearcross nearly equalised 5 minutes later when Tommy Lyons got a shot away from inside the box  but saw his shot hit the side netting and so Rearcross went in a goal down. It was all 1 way traffic in the second half as Puckane tacked on another 4 goals to claim a good victory. This was Rearcross’s first league defeat of the season and will be looking to bounce back with a win next weekend.
